On March 20th, Director Zhang Yingqi and her delegation from the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University visited for an exchange. Led by Professor Yao Jiafeng, Director Zhang Yingqi and others visited the Historical Museum to learn about the development process, talent cultivation, scientific research, and party building guidance at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. They witnessed the tremendous changes that have taken place since the establishment of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and experienced the indomitable spirit of the university's staff in advancing and innovating in the field of aviation.
Furthermore, we discussed together the clinical needs and necessity of impedance detection methods in areas such as bacterial drug resistance testing and pulmonary embolism. We proposed a series of accurate, convenient, sensitive, automated, and non-invasive detection methods.
In the next step, our research laboratory will send a prototype of the thoracic impedance tomography device to the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University for clinical testing. In order to address the challenge of difficult differentiation diagnosis of pulmonary embolism, we aim to achieve high-precision early identification of pulmonary embolism through impedance imaging methods. This will facilitate the development of reasonable and effective treatment strategies in a clinical setting.
