The Intelligent Biomendical Engineering Measurement Lab has been engaged in electrical impedance testing research for a long time, formed a stable research direction, and achieved a series of valuable research results.

The lab undertakes a number of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Royal Society of the United Kingdom Cooperation and Exchange Project, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the Science and Technology Innovation Project for Overseas Chinese Students in Nanjing, and the Enterprise Horizontal Project. In 2019, he won 2 second prizes of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award. In order to ensure the cutting-edge of academic research, the research office has been committed to international academic exchange activities, maintaining close cooperation with the University of Edinburgh in the UK and Chiba University in Japan through international cooperation projects and international joint laboratories. Focusing on basic research and cutting-edge issues in the intersecting field of medical-industrial testing, the laboratory mainly conducts the following research:

(1) Microfluidics: tumor cell detection, cell modeling and numerical analysis

(2) Electrical tomography: embedded system development, artificial intelligence imaging algorithm development

(3) Multiphase flow detection: fluid numerical analysis, flow process detection
